I started private lessons with Stephanie because I really loved the group sessions and wanted to develop my performance skills even further. With her expertise I managed to achieve distinctions in both my Trinity Grade 6 and Grade 8 exams, as well as in my Musical Theatre Level 4 Diploma in performing, a higher education qualification which I undertook alongside my A-levels. In the one-to-one setting I was challenged to embrace a multitude of genres in singing, dance and prose which expanded my abilities far beyond my comfort zone as an ex-classical singer. During my lessons towards my Diploma I also developed in-depth knowledge about the musicals around which my programme was based which allowed me to convey the characters with even more authenticity. I am currently studying Economics at Bristol University and I am finding that the presentation skills and confidence musical theatre has given me translate off-stage in ways I could not possibly have envisioned before. I owe all of my growth as a performer to Stephanie and so cannot recommend her teaching enough!
