I will be forever grateful to Cornwall Theatre School and Stephanie Johnson. CTS played a huge part in my journey becoming a professional actor and singer, not to mention the personal development, self-confidence and life changing friendships I made. I started out as a student in the academy class playing the role of Mama Rose in Gypsy then becoming a classroom assistant and travelling to the Isles of Scilly as part of the CTS team, before getting my first acting job with Rogue Theatre with whom I worked and trained with for four years. I’ve gone on to work with other companies such as O-region, Cube Essential Theatre and Cousin Jacks which took me on a USA tour in 2019 with the play, The Mousehole Cat. As a student of Stephanie’s, I learnt so much about my own performing style, I was encouraged to let myself shine and the supportive, relaxed nature of her teaching allowed me to flourish. There is a genuine family feel to this school and I am honoured to be a part of it
