I was taught by Steph from the ages of 11 to 16. We did it all: from musicals to panto. This was my first taste of drama and I couldn’t get enough of it. Every week our Friday night class couldn’t come fast enough. This was the perfect place to hone and exercise my discipline as we covered acting, dance and singing. The experience felt unique because Steph offered such a brilliant insight into the industry. I even had the opportunity to perform in a national tour of Annie when it came to the Hall for Cornwall which I will never forget. All of these really valuable lessons have stuck with me ever since. Steph sparked my passion for performing and gave me the confidence to audition for the National Youth Theatre. Since then, I’ve performed at the West End’s Ambassadors Theatre, The Albert Hall and even Hatton Garden Vaults. I’ve been part of R&D and rehearsed readings at Soho Theatre, Bunker Theatre & RADA. I co-devised and performed in a short film for the BBC.
